The university Ignou has officially released its next admission cycle for the January session 2021. Applicants who want to take admission in this top-class university then get enrolled in the upcoming July 2021. Applicants who want to apply for online programs and ODL then can go through its official website. The last date to fill the application form will be 15, July 2021. Ignou opens its portal for new admission 2021-22 for open and distance learning (ODL) and other online programs.

Applicants who want to fill the application form must check the eligibility criteria before processing the application form. To check the eligibility criteria for the particular program applicants carefully read the instructions from the official website. It is advisable, students who are fresh applicants must need to create a new registration. After registration, applicants must have to select the right course in which they want to apply.

Ignou Selection Criteria 

Admission either on entrance based or based on the obtained score in the previous year's exam. More information related to admission are as follows:

Applicants who can take admission in BLIS must secure a bachelor's degree or a 1-year diploma in the library.

For B.Com, BSW, BCA, BA, BAVTM, B.Sc, etc, applicants should have scored good marks in their intermediate exam

BBA in retail admissions are based on a merit list

Applicants who want to take admission in MBA must have to secure plus OPENMAT score in their bachelor’s degree

For M.Sc, M.Com, MA course, aspirants must have passed bachelor’s degree in their corresponding subjects

For MCA admission, applicants must have bachelor's degree (PCM) or BCA from a recognized university

For Ph.D. candidates should hold an M. Phil degree or any master’s degree in the corresponding subject with 55% aggregate marks

Read all instructions carefully and register yourself by entering some personal information such as name, mobile number, email address

Fill the application form by entering the login details

Pay the application fee for your course

Click on the submit button and then download the confirmation page

Available Methods for Admission in Ignou

There are three ways available to fill the Ignou application form:

Applicants can go through online mode and this is a very easy and time-saving process. In this process, you have to go on Ignou's official website and fill your application form.

The second one is offline mode, applicants can fill their application by download it from the official website and apply to IGNOU Regional Centre.

The third one is, applicants can download the application form from IGNOU Prospectus and submit it to the nearest IGNOU regional center.
